Irma's Kahlua Cake

This has been a family favorite over the years, appearing at many a birthday celebration. Irma is actually the stepmother of my friend Susan Boor and a wonderful woman. We don’t keep liquor in the house, but luckily I found that a mini bottle of Kahlua is exactly 1/3 cup. Also, since Swiss chocolate cake mix is hard to find, I often substitute Devil’s food or another dark, moist chocolate cake mix.

1 package Swiss chocolate cake mix
1 pint sour cream
4 eggs
1 package instant chocolate pudding
3/4 cup oil
1/3 cup Kahlua
6 oz. chocolate chips
Bundt cake pan

Mix together and bake at 350 for 55 minutes.
