Crockpot Hot Beef Sandwiches

This recipe is adapted from Fix-It and Forget-It Recipes for Entertaining. The sandwiches are delicious and they are incredibly easy to fix.

3 pound roast
1 large onion, chopped
1/4 cup vinegar
1 clove garlic, minced
1-1   1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 - 1/2 teaspoon pepper

1.       Place meat in slow cooker. Top with onions.
2.       Combine vinegar, garlic, salt, and pepper. Pour over meat.
3.       Cover. Cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
4.       Drain beef (but save broth for dipping).
5.       Add BBQ sauce and mix in.
6.       Shred meat.
7.       Serve on hamburger buns with broth on the side.
