Basil Limeade

This recipe comes from the Food & Wine cookbook, and it’s probably the most refreshing limeade I’ve ever had. Of course, you have to like basil, and it does have to be fresh basil. This recipe makes three or four glasses of limeade.

2 cups ice
1 cup water
3/4 cup fresh basil leaves (loosely packed)
3/4 cup sugar
3/4 cup lime juice (I just use bottled, although of course fresh would be best)


Blend and enjoy!
